Problematic procrastination

Hello everyone,

First of all, I'd like to apologize for not posting anything new lately, I've been much too busy procrastinating.

We all know how it starts,
You realize you've done something a million times already and you're starting to feel the phenomenon  we call boredom. You've gotten too used to the feeling you have when doing the action and you are just looking for a different thrill. So, what do you do? You take a break. Everyone takes a break, that's what they were invented for right? The movie's over and you've had your break but what do you do instead of just going back to what you were doing? You think: " I'll just check my email really quick. " or " I'll just text and ask her or him something and then I can go right back to what I was doing. "
EEEEEEEHHHHH!!! or in other words, that's completely wrong.... We all know that once we started doing something else you just sort of get caught up.

Sometimes you get caught up too much, then you have a chance of missing a pretty important part of your day/weak/month/year/life.
Sometimes you just get so caught up in what your doing to chase your dream and your ambitions, you sort of forget that anybody else exists. You get so caught up in fighting for your freedom and success you sort of see anything or anyone as a threat to destroy your dream. You forget that some of the minor obstacles aren't just to hop over but a resting point to plan your attack. Sometimes we forget that not everyone that comes in your path is a threat. Some might look like a threat or act like threat, but are just hopeless souls seeking fortune and some wisdom.

We're all here together, and we have to love one and other.

How I survive the monday mondays

Hello beautiful people,

It is monday today and just like every other monday, I hate it.
I have the monday mondays.
First of all, a monday monday is just the pure hatred of the phenomenon that comes by once a week called monday.
I have no idea why, but i just hate mondays, even on an island mondays are hated by the majority of the crowd.
Here is how I survive my mondays.

Make a plan.
Well you don't necessarily have to make a plan, you just have to sort of brainstorm your way out.
Start filling up your mind with ideas, for examples things that you're gonna do.
When does a day get boring? When you don't have anything to do.
Think about as much things as you possibly can, so you'll have something to do at all times and your brain will make your day better by thinking about good things.

Go with your gut.
If you are stuck while making a hard decision, use your gut.
Hard decisions aren't made for mondays, that's why you just wing it and go along for the ride.
When you use your gut making decisions, you make decisions much faster and results will be a lot more surprising.
Life takes you for a ride when you make spontaneous decisions because you don't know what the result is going to be.

Have fun and enjoy
Keep positive thoughts going and positive things will happen.
You would be amazed at how many things can change by just adjusting your perspective of how you look at things. Stay positive and positive things will come.
I like to think a lot has to do with mind power.
When I'm feeling depressed or sad I just have to remember, that those are my feelings and i can change my feelings by thinking about something else.

happy mondays.

Thursday Poetry

Hello my people of the world,

Even though it is not thursday anymore I still wanted to do this, so i did.

Poetry hides behind the eyes, the brain.
The mastermind behind all these amazing thoughts.
Amazing thoughts like, how to enjoy life, types of theories to create whatever you could possibly be thinking about.
The mind is amazing, so complex, derived with amazement.
Your mind AKA your brain and thought's combined.
Look for your creativity that comes from the inside.
Create by using your imagination, imagine anything, anything at all.
Your imagination is broad, your thoughts are precious.
Precious like a diamond that had to be called after our body's most essential ingredient.
Blood is red like a red ruby, shining when light hits it, but when it turns dark you see the darkness from within.
Use your mind, think about things.

Be Free

Hello my fellow people,

Ever had that moment, where you just feel as if you've stopped or like you're stuck, you don't know what you have to do at times?
It's times like these I go out for a free run.
Now a free run can be anything, as long as it sets your mind free.
You could be just in your own zone thinking about creative things, you could go out for a walk and see how far you get, or you could just go biking, it really doesn't matter as long as you free your mind.

Yesterday I went out for a free run.
it was about 10 PM and I started to notice I lost interest in a lot of things.
I was just sitting behind the computer and watching videos on youtube, at the same time i could have been doing so many other things that would have actually been productive.
I decided to go to sleep for a while.
Notice how I said for a while? I set my alarm for 12 PM.
So, I woke up, put on a big loose shirt and some board shorts.
I walked out the door with my longboard and the car keys, I just made up my mind I'm going long boarding through town.

Once I arrived in town I just went straight to the beginning the boulevard and parked the car.
For the ones who don't know, here in Bonaire we have a boulevard that stretches out almost all over town.

Alright in that picture right there, you can see my home town, all the streets connect at different places which makes it even cooler when you are just cruising on a bike or rollerblades or longboard.
now imagen this same place on the picture, but at night around 12 PM.
The streets were empty and it was so quite.
Absolute time to just get to yourself and take yourself on a journey and empty your mind of all the frustration you have.
After cruising a while in town, I decided it was time to head on home.
I stepped in the car, turned it on and I guess I took the long way home, I was just cruising.
I put on some chill beats and started singing or rapping or whatever came to mind really.

People say this island is very boring, I think not.
there is still so much to be discovered on this small little island.
People usually look for the highlights of the island, usually look to get satisfied and then it's enough.
There is so much ready to just be discovered on this little island.
I can never get bored here.
There are just so many things you can do if you really think about it.

Sometimes you just gotta free your mind and go on an adventure, maybe you're walking or maybe you're biking.
It doesn't matter you just have to get your mind free sometimes and get out of the rush hour in your head.

Saturday Chillings

Hello beautiful people,

As you may or may not know, I am a kitesurfer and I also spend a lot of time on the beach.
Unfortunately the last couple of weeks i haven't been able to go to the beach because all my gear is being repaired.

It is often said that sometimes you just have to take a day off and relax.
I've had lots of days off to relax the last couple of weeks.
I also had a lot of time to study for my school exams that are coming up and finals, so all in all it wasn't that bad that i had less temptation to go out on the water.

I heard about this competition that was being organized called the Kitemanera 2014, I checked it out.
This is a contest that is organized by a small group of locals for everyone to participate, aiming of course at everyone.
It doesn't matter how old, how young, how big or how small you are, if you came to the beach to have a good time on the water and race or maybe freestyle a bit, this is the place for you.
I heard a couple of rumors about the competition, that if you are competing you have to wear a costume.
I arrived at the beach and there were roughly about 20 kites in the air and another 20 on land.
The races have already started judging by how many people were kiting in the same direction trying to pass each other.
I had brought my camera because i knew this was something worth seeing.

So, I started walking over the beach and i setup my camera.
I started filming all these people dressed as something or someone or a combination of both.
It was a sight to see.
I was greeted every time I was noticed.
Who could blame them, I haven't been to the beach in so long they probably thought i moved to Holland, since i want to study there.

As i was filming I hear: "Chris do you want to be a freestyle judge?".
I had no problem with that so I said yes.
I sat down under this little red tent, there were a couple lounge of chairs there and that's where we had to judge from.

It was amazing, because it wasn't a pro freestyle competition.
Everyone sort of had their own style and way of executing tricks, it was a sight to see.
In the beginning it was a battle of 4 people competing for the number one spot, there was action everywhere.
Every direction you looked there was either someone wiping out hard or executing a cool looking trick.
In the finals we had a different format to really bring on the pressure for the competitors.
The format changed to a one on one match for five minutes to do as much tricks as you can as good as you can.
Of course you couldn't do the same trick three times in a row and expect the same result, so we told the competitors to show us all they got, and they did not disappoint.

After the freestyle session i came home and started processing the video and editing.

All in all, it was a great day at the beach today.
